Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This policy describes how Saiid Saad Chemistry collects and uses personal information on the learning Platform, including phone numbers used for WhatsApp account and service messages.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Saiid Saad Chemistry ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website, student platform, and related services at saiidsaad.com (the "Platform").

We provide chemistry education services, including online learning materials, exams, attendance, and parent or student communications.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Account details — full name, student code, phone number, parent phone numbers, school, gender, national ID (if provided), and login credentials.
  • Learning activity — course progress, exam attempts and scores, attendance records, video views, and related academic data.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, app version, and approximate device information for security, diagnostics, and improving the Platform.
  • Communications — messages you send us (including via WhatsApp, phone, or email) and account-related notifications we send to you.

3. Phone numbers and WhatsApp messaging

We collect mobile phone numbers for students and, where provided, parents or guardians. These numbers are used for:

  • creating and securing Platform accounts;
  • account activation and login credential notices;
  • attendance, academic, or administrative updates related to enrollment;
  • customer support and responding to inquiries.

We may send business-initiated messages through WhatsApp Business / Meta Cloud API (for example, account enrollment messages with login details and study-group invite links). By providing a phone number during registration or enrollment, you (or the parent/guardian enrolling a student) consent to receiving these service messages on WhatsApp or related channels.

Message content may include your name or the student's name, phone number used for login, temporary password, Platform login link, and relevant group links. Meta processes message delivery as described in Meta's Privacy Policy.

You may opt out of non-essential WhatsApp messages by contacting us using the details below. Service-critical notices (such as account security) may still be delivered through other available channels when required.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • operate student, parent, teacher, and assistant accounts;
  • deliver lessons, exams, and attendance features;
  • communicate about enrollment, schedules, and Platform access;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms;
  • improve Platform reliability and educational experience.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. How we share information

We may share information only with:

  • Service providers that host or support the Platform (for example cloud hosting, storage, analytics, push notifications, or messaging providers such as Meta for WhatsApp delivery);
  • Authorized staff (teachers, assistants, and administrators) who need access to operate classes and student services;
  • Parents or guardians linked to a student account, where applicable;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Platform.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as an account remains active or as needed to provide education services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Students and minors

The Platform is used by school students, including minors, under enrollment arranged by a parent, guardian, or educational administrator. Account and contact details may be provided by or with the knowledge of a parent/guardian or the teaching center. If you believe we have collected a child's information inappropriately, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of an account or certain data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw messaging consent where consent is the basis for that communication.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (including secure session cookies), remembering preferences such as theme, and measuring Platform performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent login or core features from working.
